Medical Disclaimer
Medical Disclaimer for Cadana Fertility
Effective Date: July 22, 2026
Cadana Fertility is a digital fertility support, donor-profile, record-management, education, and communication platform for users, donors, fertility clinics, and approved professionals. It helps users organize fertility-related information, upload documents, share selected records, communicate with permitted contacts, and access educational content. Cadana Fertility is not an emergency service, does not replace licensed medical care, and does not independently diagnose, treat, prescribe, or guarantee any fertility, pregnancy, donor, laboratory, or treatment outcome.
1. Not an Emergency or Urgent-Care Service
Cadana Fertility is not designed, staffed, or monitored for emergencies or urgent medical events. Do not use the app, website, chat, document upload, or support channels to request emergency care. If you have severe pain, heavy bleeding, sudden illness, a medication reaction, a pregnancy emergency, a mental health crisis, or any urgent condition, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest qualified medical facility immediately.
2. Not a Substitute for Professional Medical Advice
Information shown through Cadana Fertility is provided for support, record keeping, care coordination, donor or clinic discovery, and general education. It is not a medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription, laboratory interpretation, genetic counselling opinion, psychological assessment, legal consent review, or guarantee of fertility results.
3. Consult Licensed Professionals
Always consult appropriately licensed doctors, fertility specialists, embryologists, laboratory professionals, genetic counsellors, mental health professionals, legal advisers, or other qualified experts before making decisions about fertility testing, donor selection, semen or oocyte donation, IVF, medication, procedures, pregnancy, genetic screening, infectious-disease screening, counselling, or consent.
4. Platform Role
Cadana Fertility supports digital workflows. It may help users organize information, share selected records, communicate with permitted contacts, and view educational materials. The platform does not independently examine users, approve medical suitability, perform laboratory testing, supervise procedures, prescribe medication, or decide whether a donor, recipient, clinic, or treatment plan is medically appropriate.
5. Educational Content
Articles, fertility nutrition content, sperm-health materials, IVF journey pages, hormone insight pages, and mental-wellness content are for general information. They may not reflect your complete medical history, diagnosis, test results, age, medication use, partner factors, culture, legal context, or clinic protocol. Confirm important information with a qualified professional before relying on it.
6. Trackers and Calculations
Pregnancy trackers, symptoms trackers, ovulation tools, cycle estimates, reminders, summaries, dates, windows, and trends are support tools only. Fertility cycles and pregnancy patterns vary from person to person. These tools should not be used as the sole basis for contraception, conception timing, treatment timing, medication use, emergency decisions, or clinical conclusions.
7. Donor Profiles
Donor profiles may contain personal details, health information, physical characteristics, documents, donation history, profile media, and other records supplied by donors, clinics, professionals, or administrators. Cadana Fertility does not guarantee that every donor profile is complete, current, independently verified, medically sufficient, legally sufficient, or suitable for any particular recipient, clinic, procedure, or jurisdiction.
8. Recipient and Intended-Parent Decisions
Recipients, intended parents, partners, and families should not choose a donor or treatment path based only on information displayed in Cadana Fertility. Donor choice may involve medical screening, genetic considerations, counselling, consent, legal parentage, clinic policy, cultural preferences, cost, availability, and local law. Discuss these matters with qualified professionals before making final decisions.
9. Semen and Oocyte Donation Records
Semen donation records, oocyte donation records, collection details, storage information, donor activity records, and related entries are workflow records. They do not by themselves prove medical fitness, infectious-disease clearance, genetic suitability, sample quality, legal consent, chain of custody, or treatment eligibility unless confirmed by the responsible clinic, laboratory, or professional.
10. Medical History Records
Medical-history pages may contain sensitive fertility, reproductive, sexual, family, lifestyle, and health information entered by users or reviewed by permitted accounts. These records depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided. A medical-history page is not a replacement for a full clinical assessment, physical examination, laboratory work, imaging, counselling, or professional review.
11. Laboratory and Test Information
Any laboratory values, reports, screening documents, semen analysis information, infectious-disease results, genetic reports, or related test materials uploaded or displayed in the platform must be interpreted by qualified professionals. Cadana Fertility does not independently validate the accuracy, timing, methodology, reference range, sample source, or clinical meaning of uploaded laboratory information.
12. Document Uploads
Uploaded identification documents, medical reports, certificates, lab results, consent records, images, and other files are provided for storage, sharing, review, or workflow support. Users and clinics are responsible for making sure uploaded documents are accurate, lawful to share, readable, relevant, complete, and up to date. Incorrect uploads can lead to misunderstanding or inappropriate decisions.
13. Profile Photos and Cover Images
Profile photos, cover images, and uploaded media help identify and present account information, but they should not be treated as medical evidence or proof of identity, age, health status, donor eligibility, clinic approval, or professional qualification. Any identity or credential checks must be completed through appropriate verification processes.
14. Chat and Messaging
Chat, messaging, notifications, and contact features support communication between permitted users, donors, recipients, clinics, professionals, or administrators. Messages sent through the platform do not automatically create a doctor-patient relationship, clinic-patient relationship, legal adviser relationship, or professional duty unless separately established by the relevant licensed provider or clinic.
15. Do Not Use Chat for Critical Instructions
Do not use chat for emergencies, urgent symptoms, time-sensitive medication instructions, treatment-cycle changes, procedure timing, critical lab follow-up, or any situation where delayed response could cause harm. Contact your clinic, doctor, or emergency services through their official urgent-care channels when the matter is time sensitive.
16. Clinic and Professional Responsibility
Fertility clinics, laboratories, and professionals using Cadana Fertility remain responsible for clinical judgement, patient assessment, donor screening, infectious-disease testing, genetic evaluation, counselling, consent, eligibility decisions, treatment plans, medication management, laboratory protocols, documentation, professional licensing, and legal or regulatory compliance. The platform supports workflows; it does not replace professional duties.
17. Clinic Approval and Account Status
Any account approval, clinic approval, donor enablement, profile status, or administrative setting inside Cadana Fertility is an app access or workflow status. It should not be understood as a complete medical approval, legal approval, licensing confirmation, treatment clearance, donor suitability decision, or guarantee that a clinic, professional, donor, or user satisfies all external requirements.
18. Consent and Legal Requirements
Fertility treatment, donor use, gamete storage, embryo handling, parentage, privacy, compensation, and cross-border care may involve consent forms and legal requirements. Cadana Fertility may help store or share records, but it does not replace legal advice, clinic consent procedures, counselling requirements, or the responsibility to follow applicable laws and professional standards.
19. Privacy and Sensitive Data
Fertility and donor information can be highly sensitive. Users are responsible for choosing what information they provide and for using privacy or data-availability settings carefully. Clinics and professionals must only access, use, download, or share records where they have permission, a lawful basis, and a genuine professional need. For data-handling details, review the Privacy Policy.
20. User-Controlled Data Availability
Some parts of the app may allow users to make profile, document, fertility-health, clinic-sharing, or chat information available or unavailable to other permitted accounts. These settings help control access inside the platform, but they do not replace direct communication with clinics or professionals about what information they may already hold outside Cadana Fertility.
21. Third-Party Clinics and Professionals
Cadana Fertility may help connect users with clinics, professionals, donors, recipients, educational resources, or related services. Unless expressly stated, Cadana Fertility does not control and is not responsible for independent medical advice, professional services, clinic decisions, laboratory work, counselling, legal advice, fees, appointment availability, or conduct of third parties.
22. No Guaranteed Outcomes
Fertility, donor matching, semen or oocyte quality, IVF cycles, pregnancy, treatment response, and related health outcomes depend on many medical, biological, laboratory, personal, and professional factors. Cadana Fertility does not guarantee conception, pregnancy, live birth, donor suitability, treatment success, record approval, clinic approval, medical clearance, genetic compatibility, laboratory performance, or any specific health result.
23. Accuracy and Changes Over Time
Health records, donor availability, test results, clinic information, account status, uploaded documents, and educational content may change over time. Information that was accurate when entered or uploaded may later become outdated. Users, clinics, and professionals should review important information regularly and correct or update records when needed.
24. Your Responsibility
By using Cadana Fertility, you are responsible for seeking qualified care, reading professional instructions, asking questions when something is unclear, confirming important information with your clinic or provider, keeping your account information accurate, protecting your login details, and using the platform only for lawful, appropriate, and non-emergency purposes.
